Do you still sterilize baby stuff at 8 months?

I don't think it's necessary. I only rinse bottles and pacifiers after washing with boiling water. But her plates and spoons are not sterilized. I believe she is old enough to develop her own immune system without me being over protective on her. I wash bottles with hot water because i always feel that milk stinks the bottles. I wouldn't mind to stop anytime. What do you do?
