What's the status of a green card holder's spouse ( living outside of USA ) in USA?

Because she is your spouse she would not have to wait for a visa number to become available because spousal visas are unlimited. It still takes a few months. She cannot come until she has a visa. If she has a green card and you divorce she still will have a green card unless your marriage is a fraud, then you will both be in jail. Why are you already worrying about that?
