Want to make a move/ pull/date my housemate?

I have just come back to my home country and want to get a girlfriend. Anyway, the problem if it is a problem is I live with her, there are seven people living in the house. How should I ask her? I have come back to Britain after living in Asia for years so aren't used to Brit girls as well.
